Project Manager

Foundations of Your Job

As Project Manager you are responsible for delivery of a defined scope within time, budget and quality. You plan how many teams you need, what the separate packages will be and follow-up on the execution. You collaborate closely with Engineering Managers, Lead Engineers and Project Responsibles. You make clear agreements on responsibilities while being the single point of contact with our clients. You are managing and interpreting the expectations of the client by listening and finding solutions where required.

A glimpse of your responsibilities:

  • Managing project progress and risk to ensure timely delivery. You closely follow-up with all PRs of the individual design teams to monitor progress. You make sure that milestones are defined and are evaluated. You keep open communication about priorities and expected deadlines with the client.
  • Managing budget and resources. You have an overview of the budget and manage the amount of resources that are allocated to the projects. You make sure that the client and Engineering Managers are properly informed about budget expectations. Internally, the Project Responsibles of the individual scopes report to you.
  • Managing interfaces and information between stakeholders. You make sure that information between the design teams are shared and that interfaces (vb. geometrical, assumptions, input data, requirements, typical design solutions, level of detail etc.) are shared and equalized.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration and communication among teams. You define the working agreements to make sure that all teams can effectively communicate and collaborate. This can include but is not limited to: Recurring meetings, data sharing setup, project management templates, etc.
  • Define and manage contractual agreements (legal liabilities, financial obligations). You make sure that contractual agreements between TWD and the client are defined and followed. This means that you also manage the payment of performed works during the project and escalate before final delivery in case no payments where received.

You are a great match for TWD if you also have the following skills and experience:

  • 5-8 years of experience in relevant technical and managerial functions
  • Prior experience managing budget and planning
  • Experience working directly with clients
  • Demonstrated decision-making and commercial skills
