ICT Support Engineer

We can have all the smart Engineers we could want, but without a great ICT Support Engineer to keep all computers and systems running and updated, we cannot Design all our innovative solutions. Therefore, we are looking for the best person on the job. Someone who is enthusiastic, hands-on, and forward-thinking. Someone who sees solutions and who, together with our ICT colleagues, makes sure that everything ICT-related is arranged as optimally as possible. To further strengthen our team in Rotterdam and realize our mission to contribute to a better world by making construction easier, we are looking for an ICT Support Engineer!

What You Will Do

As an ICT Support Engineer, you join our ICT team. You are responsible for the support of all ICT matters within TWD. Find below a glimpse of your responsibilities.

  • Answer daily ICT related questions from all employees within TWD
  • Maintenance and support of our computer systems (OS and Windows 10) and software packages
  • Control of the physical/virtual server systems (Windows and Active Directory)
  • Manage the Microsoft Admin portal and support the Office 365 software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Solve issues regarding telephony (VoIP and mobile phones)
  • Solve issues regarding printers and beamers
  • Investigate the ‘must haves’ in terms of new technology for our company
  • Coming up with ideas that make our company run smarter, better, and faster

Who You Are

We are looking for a smart and eager person with practical skills in line with the following profile:

  • You have an HBO or MBO 4 education level; recently graduated or with a few years of ICT work experience.
  • You have knowledge of computer systems, physical/virtual servers, basic coding, and the Office 365 admin portal.
  • You have knowledge of Command Prompt (CMD), PowerShell, and VoIP telephony (pre)
  • You are a team player ready to take initiative and make a difference in the company
  • You can work efficiently and independently and get the job done
  • You are enthusiastic, driven, and eager to work in an entrepreneurial environment
  • You have a strong sense of responsibility
  • You have good English and Dutch communication skills (a prerequisite due to the international nature of our work floor)
  • You are available for 32-40 hours a week
