Robust Gangway Design for the Saint-Nazaire Transition Pieces Installation

To install transition pieces (TP) on the Saint-Nazaire OWF, TWD provided DEME Group with a robust gangway design.

The gangway will be mounted on the MODIGA guiding tool to allow for easy access to the TPs being installed. Our structural team designed the gangway with flexibility at its core; it can easily extend and rotate to reach the exact position of the TP.

The gangway will be reused for multiple projects, making it a sustainable and future-proof installation design. We are excited to have this design contribute to DEME Group’s OWF installation!
