Multi-scope of Kaskasi OWF Foundation Installation Engineering

Recently, Kaskasi OWF has completed its final turbine installation on the German coast of Heligoland. TWD is honored to have contributed to multiple scopes of the foundation installation engineering in this project.

We provided the design of the Noise Mitigation Deployment System, the ballast frame for the monopile collars, and a robust lifting methodology for the monopile collars and ballast frame. Additionally, our future-proof monopile seafastening spread was engineered to be re-used. We are happy to have managed these scopes within tight project deadlines and see the solutions being deployed throughout multiple vessels during the early installation stage of this year.

After a break mid-year due to vessel availability, DEME Group switched the Kaskasi installation to HLJV Innovation, on which our customised gripper and monopile seafastening spread were again repurposed.

We are glad to see Kaskasi being completed. 400,000 German households can soon benefit from this green electricity.
