Innovation – Sheet Pile Tool

Conventionally, sheet pile installation tools require several crane lifts to move to the next position and are often supported on a spud pile. This pile needs to be vibrated out when repositioning. We at TWD have designed an innovative sheet pile tool that saves a significant amount of time.

Our new sheet pile tool supports the previously installed piles and has a cantilevered gate to guide the next sheets. When relocating, the support pile clamps are released, a single crane lift repositions the gate, and the clamps are re-activated. For additional flexibility, the guide beams can rotate to enable the tool to change the direction of the piling. This makes the tool soil independent, saving time and increasing worksite safety.
