Recently we developed an interactive Monopile (MP) Operations Tool for configuring the MP saddles of a multi-trip campaign. The tool analyses the MP stability, structural integrity, and geometric feasibility of each arrangement. This allows our client to proactively schedule the monopile selection for each trip to quickly see whether the saddle arrangement meets their requirements. A full report is then automatically generated for the perusal of other stakeholders (e.g. warranty surveyor, insurance company).
With this insight, our clients are well-prepared when it comes to using and understanding our designs in the project’s operational phase. Steps can then be taken early on to ensure an efficient and hassle-free installation.
