The Delft Hyperloop team have come second in the Hyperloop competition, held in Texas last weekend.
The team competed against 124 other teams and were runners up to the team from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The Delft researchers were awarded the first prize for the most innovative design. Together with 21 other teams, Delft Hyperloop will get the chance to test their prototype in June 2016 on a 1.6 km long test track constructed by spacecraft manufacturer SpaceX.
