Monopile gripper with HSD-deployment system
To help Bilfinger install the foundation for the Sandbank offshore wind farm, TWD engineers provided several detailed designs including a monopile gripper tool, hydro sound damper (HSD) deployment frame, and upending hinge. Additionally, we created seafastening structures for the monopiles as well as various transition pieces. Bilfinger was delighted to have all requested items designed, fabricated, and ready for operation within 9 months. Sandbank has 288 MW capacity and generates green power for 400.000 households.
