This month, TWD participated in the Dutch Offshore Wind Trade Mission to South Korea. Organized by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), this event aimed to strengthen ties between the Dutch and Korean offshore wind sectors, fostering collaboration and exploring new business opportunities.
Simon Lembrechts, Commercial Manager, and Raoul Masterson, Business Developer, represented TWD. Their participation highlights TWD’s commitment to expanding its business in South Korea and the broader Asian region while contributing to the growth of the offshore wind sector worldwide.
The mission featured a Netherlands-Korea Offshore Wind Seminar, including a series of presentations and networking sessions. Lembrechts and Masterson showcased TWD’s expertise in the installation and transportation of foundations during their presentation. In the 1-on-1 matchmaking meetings, TWD engaged with several key players in the Korean offshore wind industry. Roundtable discussions with offshore wind farm developers focused on the Korean supply chain and innovation, addressing the technologies required to advance offshore wind capabilities. Participants also visited Hanwha Ocean, a major developer in the Korean offshore wind sector.
“The Dutch Offshore Wind Trade Mission to South Korea was a big success for TWD. It facilitated strategic connections and opened doors for future collaborations, reinforcing our proactive approach in the global offshore wind sector,” said Simon Lembrechts, Commercial Manager at TWD.
