We are TWD – a young company specialized in method engineering and equipment design in the offshore, near-shore and heavy civils industries. We contribute to the energy transition and key infrastructure projects in the UK and worldwide, by providing innovative solutions that allow our clients to perform their operations safely and on time.

Thanks to our agility, hands-on approach and the ingenuity in our designs, we have been scaling up steadily since our founding. We currently have over 200 employees internationally and 15 in our UK Business Unit. To grow the UK unit sustainably, we are looking for an engineer with a strong entrepreneurial and commercial mindset to join us as a Technical Sales Engineer.

What You Will Do

As a Technical Sales Engineer at TWD, you will use your commercial skills, alongside your market knowledge and network, to grow our customer and project base. Your main responsibility will be securing new projects through:

  • Identifying and pursuing potential leads
  • Reaching out to (potential) clients
  • Translating clients’ requests into simple, practical and innovative solutions
  • Making well-structured and appealing sales proposals
  • Developing and implementing growth strategies

Who You Are

To successfully perform this function, you should have:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field
  • 3-5 years of working experience in B2B technical sales, preferably in the offshore, near-shore and/or heavy civils industries
  • A network in and strong understanding of the UK contracting market
  • The ability to sense and win commercial opportunities
  • The ability to propose quick and simple technical solutions
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
