Foundations of Your Job

You use your technical expertise to create ingenious solutions with the team and assure the design quality for a wide variety of on- and offshore construction projects. What we do is method engineering and equipment design. We design mission or bespoke equipment which are used to facilitate an offshore operation, e.g. transport, lifting, and upending of heavy equipment. Whether you are a detailed specialist, or a generalist who can oversee a whole project, you are the technical guide of the project team. You are motivated to build bespoke or mission equipment design. You oversee the whole design method and look for ways to increase efficiency, both in terms of teamwork and engineering solutions. The projects we worked on were mainly offshore projects.

A glimpse of your responsibilities:

• Assuring the technical quality of designs by performing approval checks on design drawings 
• Increasing design process efficiency by proposing engineering solutions and efficient calculation methods. 
• Providing specialist knowledge on defined topics (e.g. hydraulics and actuation systems in general, welding details, connections of steel structures, FEM calculations) 
• Increasing technical knowledge and critical thinking of Engineers and Designers 
• Developing and expanding TWD skillset and working methods 
• Providing creative input and experience in (concept) design & sales trajectory 
• Inspiring the department members 
• Acting as a troubleshooter in urgent questions, on-site problem solving, etc. 

What Makes You Great

You have a passion for technology and a keen eye for detail. You know how to listen to others, inspire them, and share practical examples from your own experience. You are adaptable, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and ready to work in a dynamic environment. You take responsibility for completing your tasks with quality and efficiency.  

• You have 10+ years of experience in designing custom mission equipment and temporary works. 
• Fluent in Greek

• Ability to confidently guide new engineers and project managers, increase their knowledge, and approve design drawings of mechanical and structural mission equipment 

• Experience in Method Engineering and tools development
