Marine Piling Solutions

Precise pile installation is fundamental to the safety and durability of marine and heavy civil infrastructure. Tight tolerances, exposed conditions, and complex interfaces leave little room for correction. This is why we design piling gate solutions.

TWD develops piling gate solutions that provide pile guidance during installation. They stabilize the piles and keep them aligned during critical phases of the operation. Designed for marine environments, our systems account for environmental conditions, soil variability, site constraints, and available equipment. The solutions shown here are proven concepts that can be adapted to project-specific requirements, enabling precise installation without unnecessary complexity.

Tailored Solutions for Real-World Projects

Our customizable piling solutions are designed around the realities of marine and heavy civil construction. Built on proven concepts, our systems are adapted to specific pile types, project equipment, and site conditions. The focus is on control, stability, and predictable performance in demanding environments.

Our piling solutions are designed to:

  • Ensure accurate pile positioning for a reliable connection with surrounding structures
  • Maintain vertical and raked alignment to prevent deformation and installation issues
  • Control pile spacing for structures such as combi walls
  • Stabilize piles during unsupported phases, reducing the influence of wind, waves, and current

Depending on the project setup, solutions can be freestanding, spud-mounted, or integrated with jack-up and barge platforms. Modular designs, actuated alignment frames, and automated centering systems allow each configuration to be fine-tuned for safe handling, efficient installation, and reduced time on site.

Marine Piling Solutions in Action

Sheet Pile Wall Construction

This lightweight piling gate supports the construction of marine sheet pile walls and cofferdams. Integrated walkways provide safe access, while the structural frame ensures controlled alignment for installations up to 90-degree angles.

Walking Piling Gate

This standalone piling gate is designed to reposition itself without crane assistance. It fine-tunes pile alignment during installation, reducing crane dependency and simplifying site logistics while maintaining tight tolerances.

Cellular Wall Construction

This spud-mounted cellular piling gate is designed to support precise alignment during large wall closures. Installed on modular barges, it provides a stable reference frame throughout the piling process while allowing efficient mobilization and transport. The configuration supports accurate pile positioning and controlled installation in exposed marine conditions.

Raked pile installation

This barge-mounted piling gate uses sliding outriggers and dual-level grippers to guide raked piles into position. The system can slide along the length of the vessel, maintaining alignment and minimizing jack-up barge repositioning. This way it supports efficient installation in constrained or time-critical environments.
