We are TWD – an engineering company that is young at heart, open for changes, and fun to work for. Every day we contribute to the energy transition and key infrastructure projects worldwide. Our core business focuses on providing services in method engineering and equipment design. We provide innovative solutions to our clients, mainly in the offshore and heavy civil industries.

Thanks to our attention on development, fun, and happy clients, we are scaling up rapidly in the past decade. At this moment, we are operating at 3 locations in Europe (Rotterdam, London, and Athens) and have over 200 employees. To keep up with the pace of our service growth and to bring our business to the next level, we are looking for an additional help in our sales team in Rotterdam.

WHAT YOUR PART WILL BE

Together with your sales colleagues, you are responsible for detecting new design service opportunities, initiating the first contacts with prospects, and collecting the project requirements/boundary conditions. Effective communication is crucial with both our prospects/clients and the internal TWD project teams.

Apart from communication, to successfully manage this role, you also need to effectively develop fit-for-purpose installation methods and structural/mechanical design solutions. This means you will need to be able to translate the requests of a contractor into a clear design proposal. On top of that, you need to communicate your solutions via digital visuals or hand sketches. Together we boost our sales growth to the next level!

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have a BSc. or MSc. degree in civil/structural/mechanical/maritime engineering or equivalent
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in engineering
  • A strong commercial interest is necessary and experience(s) in technical sales is a plus
  • You are a creative problem solver
  • You are a good listener and can communicate in a clear and structured manner
  • You are enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, and independent
  • You are fluent in English
  • You can effectively balance strong technical skills with solid relationship-building capability
  • You can work in teams and collaborate effectively with people across various functions
