Foundations Of Your Job

As a Software Engineer for Business Automation at TWD, you’ll take on diverse internal projects, focusing on building and optimizing in-house business automation solutions. You’ll ensure seamless project execution while continuously improving processes for both our commercial project teams and enabling services teams (HR, Legal, Finance).

Here are some examples of what you’ll work on:

  • Developing project management tools (e.g., budget reporting, planning) with React
  • Enhancing dashboards with Power BI
  • Automating ERP processes using AFAS and Python
  • Implementing enterprise search with SharePoint and AI (short-term road map)
  • Creating knowledge management systems (short-term road map)

Your responsibilities:

  • Leading projects from start to finish
  • Identifying opportunities for new features and improvements
  • Proposing and implementing innovative ideas for in-house tools
  • Managing and enhancing various tools and technologies
  • Creating dashboards for enabling services teams
  • Translating user needs into functional front- and backend application
  • Ensuring high-quality output and clean, maintainable code

You are the perfect match for TWD if you also have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field, including but not limited to:
    • Econometrics
    • Industrial Engineering & Management (Technische bedrijfskunde)
    • Technology, Policy & Management (Technische bestuurskunde)
  • A demonstrable interest in development (e.g., hobby projects, side jobs)
  • Strong Python skills
  • Bonus points for experience with SharePoint, Power Automate, ERP systems (AFAS), AI, and JavaScript/React
